Hunting Backpack Digital Woodland Modular Expedition

Description

This hunting backpack is a modular expedition system. The extra-large main rucksack breaks down into separate bags, including a detachable messenger bag, so you can leave most of the gear at base camp and take only what you need on a day hunt. It is offered in 11 colors and patterns.

What stands out

• Modular design that splits into independent bags, including a detachable messenger bag
• Internal frame and adjustable torso suspension
• Bottom zippered compartment and internal divider for a sleeping bag and shelter
• Hydration bladder sleeve with a pass-through port
• MOLLE webbing on the front pouch and sides, plus detachable hip belt pockets
• Ventilated mesh back panel, compression straps and corded zipper pulls

Where it fits, and where it doesn’t

It suits week-long elk and mule deer hunts and DIY public-land trips where you set up a base camp and hunt out of it. If you want one large bag without modular parts, see the XL digital woodland expedition pack. For a two-piece rucksack plus sling set at a lower price, compare the desert tan rucksack combo.

Field tips

• Leave the main rucksack at camp and take the messenger bag out for short hunts.
• Put the sleeping bag in the bottom compartment and heavy gear against your back.
• Adjust the torso length with a loaded pack before the trip.
