This 55-liter hunting backpack arrives ready to customize. Full MOLLE webbing covers the front, and the detachable side and front pouches come included, so you don’t need to buy extra pouches to get organized. It is sold in six colors, from black to olive drab.

Where it fits, and where it doesn’t

It is a good middle ground between a day pack and an expedition pack, handling all-day ridge hunts and a night or two out. Field tips

• Adjust the load lifters last. With a full pack they should angle back at roughly 45 degrees toward the pack.
• Put the included pouches where your hands naturally fall, then practice reaching them while wearing gloves.
• Use the shoulder-strap loops to route a hydration tube or radio cord so it doesn’t swing and catch.
