This hydration hunting backpack is a 35-liter woodland camo day pack with routing for a water bladder, so you can drink without taking the pack off during a long sit or stalk. The soft-shell polyester body is flexible and quiet, and it squeezes through saplings without much noise.

Field tips

• In freezing temperatures, blow water back into the bladder after each drink to stop the tube icing up.
• Cinch the compression straps before a ladder climb so the pack stays narrow.
• Put your headlamp and release in the upper accessory pocket so you can find them in the dark.
