Hunting Backpack for Multi-Day Camping and Hiking Expeditions

Description

This hunting backpack is a budget-friendly, high-capacity tactical pack for camping and hiking trips that run several days. Full-length MOLLE webbing on the front takes holsters, first aid kits or pouches, and a wide waist belt moves weight off your shoulders onto your hips.

What stands out

• Full-length MOLLE webbing on the front panel
• Wide waist belt, padded shoulder straps and adjustable sternum strap
• Heavy-duty buckles and compression straps to slim the profile in brush
• Rugged nylon with reinforced stitching
• Seven colors, including desert and plateau camouflage

Where it fits, and where it doesn’t

It is a good first multi-day pack, or a spare for camp and hiking trips, at a low price. It has no internal frame listed, so very heavy meat loads are better carried in a framed pack like the hunting backpack with frame. For more organization and included pouches, compare the 55 L modular MOLLE backpack. If you want one pack for day hunts and the odd overnight, with a rifle or bow carry, see the all-round hunting backpack.

Field tips

• Tighten the waist belt first so the weight sits on your hips.
• Use MOLLE pouches for small gear so the main compartment stays free for layers and food.
• Test the pack fully loaded on a short hike before a multi-day trip.
