Ordered Tuesday, had it in a week. First morning out — 45-minute climb to my setup spot and my back wasn't wrecked by the time I got up the tree. Never happened with any pack I've owned before. The hip belt pockets actually fit real stuff too. Revolutionary concept apparently.

22 years bowhunting, probably 8 different packs. Most of them were just hiking packs hunters tried to make work. This one is actually built around how you move with a bow. The attachment doesn't bounce. Sounds like a small thing until you're 30 yards from a buck trying not to make a sound.

Packed out a 5-day elk hunt with this. Roughly 55 lbs on the way in. About 80 with meat on the way out. Frame held up, straps didn't dig, no blown seams. I've paid more for packs that failed on day two. This one didn't. That's all I needed it to do.

My old pack had one job — carry my saddle gear up a tree without falling apart. It failed that job for three seasons before I replaced it. This one's been up about 60 trees since September and looks the same as the day it arrived. Worth every penny and then some.

Hunt public land in northern Wisconsin. It rains. It snows. Sometimes both at the same time in October. Everything in this pack stayed dry through a full morning sitting in a cold front. First waterproof pack I've owned that actually means it.

Sent mail before I ordered because I wasn't sure on sizing. Guy on the support actually knew what he was talking about — asked about my torso length, what I was carrying, how long my typical sits were. Ended up with exactly the right pack. That kind of help you don't get from Amazon.
